The above furnaces have provision for hot oil quenching.

All furnaces are equipped with PLC controllers, Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition system and alarm communication’s for any malfunction during HT cycle.

2. PIT FURNACES - OUR SPECIALITY IN HEAT TREATING LARGE JOBS

The above furnaces are used for Gas Carburising, Gas Nitriding, Hardening and tempering various grades of steel, up to maximum temperature of 1050 deg C.

We specialize in heat treating large jobs. These furnaces are equipped with recipe based programmable controllers,Oxygen probe, Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition system and alarm communication’s for any malfunction during HT cycle, We use special jigs and other ‘best practice’ methods to reduce the risk and severity of dimensional changes during Heat treatment.

3. BOGIE HEARTH FURNACES – FOR HEAT TREATMENT OF CASTINGS AND FORGINGS

The above furnaces are used for heat treating of jobs in pre machined condition.

Quenching

Ace Carbo Nitriders is equipped with adequate facilities for open quenching of jobs from the furnaces in 2 and 3 above. These include Oil Quench, Polymer Quench and Air Quench. Heat Exchangers coupled with the oil and Polymer quench Tanks ensure the quenchants' temperatures are maintained within a desired range.

4. VIBRO FINISHING-FOR CLEANING OF SMALL/SHEETMETAL ITEMS AFTER HEAT TREATMENT

Vibrator Type Finishing Machine 1 300 Litres

Vibro finishing is used to deburr and clean heat treated components which are small in size/sheet metal parts. It gives the component a steel grey appearance. Rinse wash and de-rusting oil are applied to components after Vibro finishing.

5. HYDRAULIC PRESS- FOR STRAIGHTENING OF SMALL JOBS AFTER HEAT TREATMENT

This press is used to straighten heat treated shafts within the size mentioned above. Straightness can be maintained within 20 microns.

6. SUBZERO EQUIPMENT-FOR POST HEAT TREATMENT SUB ZERO OPERATIONS

The subzero operation is used after Hardening and quench operation to improve the microstructure of heat treated components. Residual retained Austenite is converted to Martensite, thereby providing better hardness and dimensional stability in the life of the component.

We have comprehensive testing facilities available which include Rockwell, Brinell, Macro-Vickers, Micro-Vickers and portable hardness testing facilities. In addition, samples can be cut, ground and mounted for microscopic examination with image analysis capability. All batches of heat treated items will pass through a quality check as per the customer's specification and records/specimens are maintained for a prescribed period for traceability.

8. SCADA

Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system that allows to: Control processes locally or at remote locations. Monitor, gather, and process real-time data.
